See Through Computer

This is a transparent computer that allows the user to reach inside and touch digital. This computer was unveiled at the TED conference in Los Angeles.

TED fellow Jinha Lee has been working on the SpaceTop 3D desktop (the name of the computer) in collaboration with Microsoft.

The computer allows you to interact with it it the same way you with other solid objects.

Jinha Lee thinks he can see the system coming into general use within a decade.

The system has a transparent LED display with built in cameras, which would track the your gestures and eye movements. I think that it will record all the movements as well so don't do anything stupid in front of it!

One of the features that have been described, is that if you're working on a document you would be able to pick the computer up and flip through it like a book. I would love to see this done!

For more precise tasks where hand gestures are not accurate there is a touchpad which for example allows architects to manipulate 3D models.

I think I've said enough but you can always research this!
